Aramid Packing
This packing is braided from aramid fiber (1313) and impregnated with a dedicated lubricant, then re-impregnated with high-quality PTFE emulsion during braiding, giving a low friction coefficient that greatly reduces shaft wear even at high shaft speeds. The low heat generated keeps the packing cool, soft and elastic in service, extending its service life. Suitable as a high-performance general-purpose packing for pumps and valves.
