Graphite Yarn Impregnated PTFE
High-quality graphite yarn deeply impregnated with PTFE, combining graphite's flexibility and thermal conductivity with PTFE's chemical inertness and low friction. Ideal for high-temperature static and dynamic sealing in petrochemical, power and boiler applications.
Inquire about Graphite Yarn Impregnated PTFEProduct Introduction
Graphite yarn impregnated with PTFE is a composite sealing material made from high-quality graphite yarn fully impregnated with PTFE (PTFE dispersion). Through a special impregnation process, the graphite yarn and PTFE are deeply combined, retaining the natural flexibility and thermal conductivity of graphite yarn while imparting excellent chemical inertness and a low friction coefficient.
The product consists of round or square graphite yarn bundles that are evenly impregnated, dried and set. The surface is smooth and dense with small gaps between yarns, making it suitable for high-temperature sealing, compression sealing and dynamic sealing applications.
Compared with traditional graphite yarn or plain PTFE materials, graphite yarn impregnated with PTFE offers significant advantages in temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and sealing reliability. It is widely used in high-temperature pressure vessels, gas turbines, boilers and chemical equipment under severe working conditions.
Applications / Fields of Use
This product is commonly used in petrochemical, power generation, steelmaking, gas turbine and industrial boiler industries. It suits static and dynamic sealing in agitators, filter presses, heat exchangers, pressure reducing valves and gas separation units. It seals common industrial media including water, air, oils, alcohol, weak acids and alkalis, cooling water and some neutral gases; in environments free of strong oxidizers, highly corrosive acids/alkalis and volatile solvents, temperature resistance is even better.
